Today morning i woke up at 6.45am. I had to meet Mayuri at 7.30am. After meeting Mayuri we went the to Rathaus to get me registered. After getting registered we went to the immigration office to inquire about my Visa extension. It was unsuccessful as i needed to get a local insurance first. Hence Mayuri decided we would have to go the on another day.

After which we went to Uni Centre. At Uni Centre i opened a new bank account at the Sparkasse Bank. After opening the account Mayuri taught me how to make payments through the bank. She also taught me how to deposit money into the bank. After settling the bank stuff we went to the university. At the university i got my student card. With the student card i will be able to travel on the trains and buses without buying a ticket. Well the card cost 200+ so its something similar to the bus and train concessions in Singapore.

After which we went to the cafeteria where all the international students have gathered and are having a briefing. The briefing was about a trip to Berlin in October. I decided to join them as Berlin is the Capital of Germany, and what's the point of staying in the country when i do not go to the place with the most memories in history for the country. There i made some friends. Michel from the Czech Republic, Chiara from Italy, Amir from Jordan, Vladimir from Russia, Maria from Romania. I did not have internet connection in my apartment yet. Hence i asked Michel to help me. He accompanied me to the uni centre to buy my German sim card. After which i went to his apartment to get my internet set up. After setting it up i went back to my apartment for a short nap.

After the nap mom called me. I talked to her. I really miss mom and my family. After mom put down the phone a while later my aunt for UK called me. I spoke to her.

at about 8 Michel came to my apartment. he wanted me to join them for dinner. All the international student were having a dinnner/party. They have this every friday night. I went there we had some food and drinks. and came home around 2am. Had a good sleep.
