WEEK 5 (12/10, 13/10, 14/10, 15/10, 16/10, 17/10, 18/10):




12/10/09(Monday):


Today we went to the Hochschule. Armin need our help to pass a parcel to the DHL delivery man. The parcel contained a spare motor which was need for the ace in Australia. Armin told us the delivery man would arrive at about 10am. Yilong and I waited from 9am for the delivery man to arrive. We waited and waited.. About 6 hours later he came. He told us he was stuck in traffic. After handing over the parcel we left for home as it was already getting dark. We cooked pizza and soup for dinner.

I was fully sealed.




Our dinner. We were lazy to cook anything else. Haha.




13/10/09(Tuesday):


Today i stayed home as there was none of the teammates were in Bochum. While at home i tried to use the programme named 'Solidworks' to create something. It was really hard to use the program. I created some weird shapes. But failure is a step towards success. I hope to one day be able to use this program as i've seen this programe with a user with good knowledge of the software.


14/10/09(Wednesday):


Today I went to Dusseldorf with Yilong to check if his camera could be repaired. I also needed to buy myself a ear piece for my Mp3 Player as my previous ear piece had spoiled. When we went to check for Yilong's camera they told us that the repairs would be costly, Yilong decided it was not worth it and he was a little upset. I managed to buy Sienheisser earpiece. It's audio quality was very good.


15/10/09(Thursday):


Yilong is a totally different guy without a camera. He seemed a little upset. Hence, I tld him he could use my camera until he got his replacement one. It didn't really matter to me because we went to most of the place together. His mood changed for the good. It was more fun. =) During the evening Yilong's roomate Vladimir invited me to their room for some tea. I went then and was shocked for a moment as i saw a pair of russian twins. My brain refused to register the fact they were twins. Haha.

I was not doing anything illegal. I was only placing my phone into the pocket inside the jacket.

I was walking while listening to music. I didn't realise Yilong had taken this photo of me while i was ahead. But it really is a nice photo. This is inside the Hochschule.

16/10/09(Friday):


Today we went to the Hochschule to do some research. We found some really cool equipment in the workshop. In the evening for dinner Amir, Yilong, Vladimir and I cooked different stuff and we ate together.

I look like a weird alien.

I'm going the Kill You and......

Amir cooked the rice with potatoes, Vladimir made the Salad, Yilong made the Pizza, and I made the Soup. Looks tempting doesn't it?

Mmmmmm... It looks soooooo GOoooooddd!!!


17/10/09(Saturday):


Today we went to the 2nd hand market also known as Floh-Markt. It is a place where anyone can go and sell their unwanted stuff. It's like a massive garage sale. I bought a rug and some stuff to decorate my room. Not all the items sold are secondhand. There are some who sell original goods. Later in the evening the fire alarm in the hostel went off. Someone had accidentally triggered the alarm. 7 Fire trucks came within 5 minutes. They were really fast and responsive. Everyone outside were just having a laugh at what was going on as it was only a false alarm.

18/10/09(Sunday):


Today Yilong, Amir and I went to Aachen. It's about a 2 hour train ride from Bochum. We went there for 2 reasons. Firstly it was to sight-see around the city. Secondly it was to accompany Yilong to collect his camera which his parents passed to one of his friends to give to him. Aachen is a very nice city. It is also home to Germany's TOP Engineering University. It has many beautiful sites.

12/10/09(Monday):
