WEEK 6  (19/10, 20/10, 21/10, 22/10, 23/10, 24/10, 25/10):




19/10/09(Monday):


Today we went to the Hochschule and had a new task in hand. We were supposed to find companies in China to call as there was a survey which was needed to be conducted. We researched and found some companies. China is one of the biggest manufacturers of Electric Motors.



20/10/09(Tuesday):


Today we went to the Hochschule to continue searching for Chinese companies and calling them for the survey. I couldn't speak chinese. Hence Yilong did the calling and I did the researching. Electric Motors seemed to be extremely popular in China.



21/10/09(Wednesday):


Today we went to the Hochschule to meet Stefan. Stefan is the Manager in charge for the Research team. When we went to school he wasn't there We waited about 3 hours for him. After which Yilong and I decided to go to Koln. We went to Koln. It is about a 1hour 45 minutes train ride to reach Koln. Koln is home to one of the world's oldest gothic churches. It is the Koln Grand Cathedral. The Head Priest of this church is part of the Vatican Council. The Church is at least 400 years old. It's sculptures and design is purely amazing. I could just stand there and admire the church for hours if possible. We also walked around the place but the most interesting site of all was the church. It was really really nice.







22/10/09(Thursday):


Today Yilong and I went to the Rewirpowerstadion which is the home stadium for the Bochum Football Team.We were really lucky as today the team was having their training session. All the players were there. They ll looked like they were having lots of fun. It reminded me of the times in Singapore when i would have my soccer trainings with my friends/team. I missed those times. Now moving along.. I managed to ake a picture with their Goalkeeper.



23, 24, 25/10/09(Friday, Saturday, Sunday):
BERLIN!!



Today we left early in the morning as there was a trip to Berlin which was organised by the school for Erasmus Students  We were going for the weekend. The bus trip was really long it took 6 hours.to reach Berlin. Berlin is one of my most favourtie places as there is soo much history in that place. I'm a history lover. And Berlin is a place where it full of History and War Memories. The moment i reached Berlin i could feel like a dream had come true. On the first day we were given time to go around Berlin on our own. We wandered the streets of Berlin. That night we also went for a party in Berlin. From the outside the building looked like a museum. When we went it the whole atmosphere had changed. It was a total party scene. The day after which was a Saturday. We had a guided tour around Berlin. We were told about all the impt locations. We went to Checkpoint Charlie which was the first checkpoint set up by the US in Berlin during the War. We also went to the Berlin Wall. A wall which almost everyone in the world would know about. The wall the separated east and west Berlin. There is really so much i can say about Berlin so, I'll stop here and post the pictures.
