WEEK 9 (09/11, 10/11, 11/11, 12/11, 13/11, 14/11, 15/11):
09/11/09(Monday):
More teammates came back from Australia. Almost the whole team was back. It is nice to fnally meet the whole team and gain some knowledge and share experiences with them.
10/11/09(Tuesday):
Today I went to meet Christoph. He is the Mechanical team leader of the SolarCar team. He gave us more technical details of the car. Like the weight of the car, cost of making it, torque of the motor, speed of the car, the braking system, etc. The information he provided us was very useful.
The team is now recruiting new members to take over as the current team members will be graduating soon and have to concentrate on their upcoming examinations.
11/11/09(Wednesday):
Today is single's day. Happy single's day to everyone. Today i stayed home to rest and update my daily log book.
12/11/09(Thursday):
Today i went for my german lessons. I am slowly becoming able to pick up bits and pieces of words peple are sying to me in shops. It's very useful. Its slightly easier to communicate when purchasing stuff.
13/11/09(Friday):
Today i stayed home and prepared my stuff as tonight I am going to Paris with Yilong for sight-seeing..The bus leaves from \Essen. It's a 6 hours bus ride to Paris. I feel really excited.
14-15/11/09(Saturday & Sunday):
PARIS!!! I went to Paris, It is a very beautiful city. I went to see the world famous Louvre Museum, home to the famous Mona Lisa painting. The painting was as beautiful as everyone had described. I am lucky to have been able to see it. I also managed to see the 'Venus De Milo' Statue in the museum After which i also went to Notredame de Paris. Its a church which.i heard lots of stories of while growing up. And last but not least i saw what Paris was famous for..... THE EIFFEL TOWER....!!!!! It is a purely amazing architectural. It had a wonderful light show everyhour after sunset. really beautiful.. enough talking now i shall show you the pictures..
